Your Data Explained
Many websites use complex legal language to explain their privacy policies. We believe in keeping things simple and want to explain, in plain English, how your data is handled. This document covers what data we collect, where it goes, how it’s stored, how long it’s kept, and who to contact if you have a complaint.
Collection
We collect data through various forms on our website. You’ll find a “Request a viewing” and a “Make an enquiry” form on individual property listings. Other forms are located on pages like “Contact us,” “Advertising,” and “Get approved.” When you complete and submit any of these forms, we collect the data you provide. If you would like a copy of your collected data, please email us at sheffield@artfullodger.co.uk.
Delivery
Data submitted through the forms on property listings (for viewings or enquiries) is sent directly to the relevant landlord, agent, or property manager. Data from all other forms is sent directly to us.
Storage
In all cases, your data is stored securely and electronically in our website’s database. This area is protected by a password and two-factor authentication. We do not keep any manual records. The landlords, agents, and property managers who receive your data all comply with GDPR and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
